Who we are
La Coruña Shore Excursions (https://lacorunashoreexcursions.com) is an independent La Coruña cruise planning and booking site. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
Enquiries: If you contact us through our enquiry form, we collect the name, email address and any details you choose to provide so we can respond.
Bookings: When you book online we collect lead contact details (name, email), guest counts, cruise date/ship, and payment confirmation data from Stripe. After payment we may collect traveller passport details (full name, date of birth, passport number, issue/expiry dates, nationality, gender) for each guest so the excursion can be operated.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate.
How we use information
We use enquiry details to reply to you. We use booking and traveller details to process payment, confirm and operate the excursion, communicate about your booking, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Payment processing
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe acts as a payment processor; card details are entered on Stripe’s secure Checkout and are not stored on our servers.
Retention of passport data
Passport and traveller details are retained only as long as needed for tour operations and legal obligations. We set a retention deadline of 90 days after the excursion date when details are saved, then delete those traveller records unless a dispute or legal hold applies. Automatic deletion must be scheduled in production operations. We never put passport numbers in URLs, Stripe metadata, emails, or routine application logs.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site and, where enabled, anonymous analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Booking progress may use sessionStorage for non-sensitive selections (date, ship, guest counts) — never for passport data.

Our guides may link to third-party providers. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
